Join instructor Marcy Heisler for a six-week, in-class, creative blockbusting workshop focusing on the comedic lyric. Students will listen to a song that touches upon a specific comedy topic.
They will then be given a prompt covering a similar topic, and be tasked with crafting a lyric/lyric start of their own in sixty minutes. Work will then be presented and discussed in class, giving students a chance to practice pitching and creative collaboration in addition to craft.
