Introducing the DGI Weekend Warrior's Workshop Series

We’re happy to offer two classes for our new Weekend Warriors’ workshop series that addresses two areas of interest that a large number of our members are drawn to: Self-Production and Theatre For Young Audiences (TYA).

Offered over a long weekend in early April (April 7-8), and held either online or here in the Guild’s Mary Rodgers Room, this weekend intensive is being created to both make introductions to new ideas and support what you might already know.

Self-Production Boot Camp

You’ve got a script you know is ready for production. Yet still no producer is knocking down your door. For years through his work with the Dramatists Guild of America and beyond, Roland Tec has been helping writers uncover their own inner strengths and resources as they become writer-producers. Countless scriptwriters have graduated from Roland Tec’s Self-Production Boot Camp with the tools and the confidence needed to bring their work to the public. Topics covered include: Budgeting, Scheduling, Hiring & Firing, Venue, Casting, and PR.
